JAH3 Kingston, Jamaica

Run 252
United Estate, Bogwalk

"Nou' deh exercise?" I was asked on the trail. Looking in puzzelment at the little bwoy and asking him "What?" a couple of times, then to everyone's surprise, he translated! -  "Are you exercising?" "Ahhhh... Yes!" The "exercise" was amazingly short for a hash set by Wheel Nutz and Big Mac. Fear of sudden rain and floods had made them cut the trail short, sending us across the river only to find the X on the other side, stopping us from going long distance.

The heat made the orange grove into an oven. It offered lots of opportunities for false trails, and without doubt some got lost amidst the orange trees. All in all a pleasant afternoon run, nothing troubled us but the heat. First time Acting Deputy Assistant Substitute Hash Master Russel "Crash"  Merifield was civilized in his address to the circle while the Constable found the usual hearty words and Rice "N Peas tried to find words in the presence of Haitian charm and couldn't remember what HEART is about.

The circle saw three new hashers from Jamaica, Trinidad and Haiti. "Awesome" Dawson came visiting, so were Pole Position's brother and wife who love to schedule their visits to include a hash.  "Cool Runnings" blushed at the "Awesome" sight and remembered his own looks when being young and innocent while I considered the need of a personal trainer.

Thanks to Wheel Nutz and Big Mac for bringing us back to this lush countryside. Oh, and next time please ask the Club to have SOME Tru Juice in stock!

Yours truly, BMW
