RUN 329
July 18, 2010
Irish Town, St. Andrew

The day unfolded with lots of rain. We got off to a late start, still enthusiastic and not knowing what was lying ahead of us! Energiser Bunny and Wrapper set us up for a good exercise around Irish Town and Maryland.

The pictures show the happy pack before the run. since I was the only photographer this day and never made it ON IN to the down downs. Listening to the account of Maniac and others later that evening, I realized that I was spared a strenuous uphill ON IN.

What had happened along the way? I had been en route with Bakkle Tap who was all smiles and happy to be out for a walk until she slipped down a false trail. The result was her upper left arm landing on an iron pipe and breaking into two. Instead of the right uphill trail we now rode a bumpy road downhill in Andrew Gordon's pick up truck on our way to St. Andrews Hospital. We arrived safely within an hour. Thank you Andrew! And good and speedy recovery for Bakkle Tap.
