Reggae Falls, Hillside, St. Thomas
It was a hot, sunny day, 90 of us were enticed to take part in this run! The trail guide us on a hill foot through some well delimited pasture lands with beautiful views of the mountains around. Walking in the dry riverbed, certainly made us feel like stepping into a hot oven! Only the thought of the refreshing river and beautiful waterfall (and cold beer of course) kept us going.
The runners reach back after close to one hour, while the last walkers arrived after about two hours. We spent most of the after run time, practicing our well known oral rehydrating technique complemented with external water cooling this time!
Well done for the hares, good hash and we are looking forward, one day, to return to Reggae Falls!
