DIRECTIONS

How to Get There

Location is easy to find – it lies along the main road from Kingston to Ocho Rios.
(Perhaps approximately 1 hr 45 min from Dunrobin/Constant Spring Road.)

Here are some IDIOT-PROOF directions:
-From Kingston, head WEST (Dunrobin, Washington Boulevard, Mandela Highway)
-You may take the toll road, bypassing Spanish Town and take the first exit (Direction: Bog Walk & Ocho Rios)
-Head NORTH (Flat Bridge, Bog Walk, Ewarton, Mount Rosser, Moneague)
-About 10-15 minutes or so after Moneague, you get to Walkers Wood. Continue on the main road (Sharp “V” turn keeping left)
-Continue on the main road and Lyming will be on your LEFT.

(Note that instead of going via Mandela Highway, you can also get to Bog Walk via Sligoville)

“It really is a good fete which we put on each year. The tickets are $3000 each and includes dinner, drinks and Peter Phillips disco. There is a gate prize for two to spend a weekend at breezes Runaway Bay. I encourage persons to try and arrange to come with a group of friends that you enjoy partying with. That to me is always more fun.
Showtime is 9.00PM

HARES NEEDED!!!

Hashers are reminded to be on the lookout for locations for a hash! Check out locations, carefully note the directions and indicate the day and time you would like to set the hash. It would be nice to check out and confirm the following:
-Suggested date for the hash; Suggested start time; Name/Names of Hare(s); How long to get there from a known location (eg from Manor Park, Harbour View Washington Boulevard, etc); Idiot-Proof directions; Will there be food?; Any special features of the location; etc etc
Come and discuss at the next hash(es) or at the JGS on Friday evenings. If necessary, get someone to help you!
When you have confirmed, send an email with the hash information!

LOBSTER NIGHT AT THE JAMAICAN GERMAN SOCIETY!!!

“Mom wants to have a lobster night there at German Society on the 17th of February. The dish (lobster) will be served with a salad, vegetable or some of the known side orders such as fried plantain, fried bammy, festival or fried potato. P.S. Can someone do a little scouting, and maybe make a couple of calls to see if you can get a bus at a reasonable price (better than US$20 per person which seems to be the normal 'going rate' for transportation for tourists stepping off a ship).

Have no experience catering food for 50 ravenous beasts? Don't let that stop you, an experienced hare will be happy to assist. When you set the run, you get to choose the day (Sat or Sun) and time that the run takes place. You also make whatever food arrangements you choose.
