Lovely scenic river hash- all shallow and good for kids, passing through sorrel fields, citrus grove, cane fields, and plum trees along the path, 70% flat with one hill climb overlooking a sugar plantation etc.

How to get there

Its about 65km from Dunrobin light at Constant Spring Road (90 min drive) but may be should allow another 10 mins due to Wrapper (Andy) mashing up the Boulevard Road. Mostly highway roads with a few potholes on the last 8km.

Take Highway 2000 until toll road ends, go straight through Mineral Heights round-about, pass over Rio Minho Bridge and exit/turn right on Glenmuir Road to May Pen, (Hash location is 20km from this point), go straight through traffic lights heading toward Chapleton/Turners, at town square (DO NOT GO TO CHAPLETON) keep right to Suttons/Rock River.

Pass over first iron bridge and keep right, pass over second iron bridge and take immediate left turn into river bed. Follow path through the river bed for 400metres to hash location (very shallow and cars can make it without a problem).

RSVP : KINDLY RESPOND WITH YOUR FOOD ORDER BY 4 PM, THURSDAY September 9, late responses for food to melrose_reid@cwjamaica.com

Don't know how to set a Hash?

Have no experience catering food for 50 ravenous beasts? Don't let that stop you, an experienced hare will be happy to assist. When you set the run, you get to choose the day (Sat or Sun) and time that the run takes place. You also make whatever food arrangements you choose.
